New Billing Charges From 4th April 2022

Dear Patients,

Due to the continued hike in medical consumable costs, and that related to running the clinic, we have made the difficult decision to increase our

gap fee by $5 from the 4th April 2022. Those who meet bulk billing requirements however, will continue to be bulk billed on weekdays.

WEEKDAYS (Monday – Friday)

Those we continue to bulk bill are:-

  • Under 16 years old

  • Hold a Healthcare Card

  • Pensioner Concession Card

  • Commonwealth Seniors Health Card

  • DVA Card

  • From the Retirement Village that we service

For patients who don't fit the above category but have a valid Medicare Card, there will be a

$30 Gap fee

WEEKENDS (Saturday & Sunday)

Patients seen on weekends

Gap $25 for patients that are usually bulk billed on weekdays:-

  • Under 16 years old

  • Hold Healthcare Card, Pensioner Concession Card, Commonwealth Seniors Health Card, DVA Card

  • From the Retirement Villages or Nursing Homes we service

For patients who don't fit into the above category but have a valid Medicare card, there will be a

$40 Gap fee

Patients with a gold DVA card will continue to be bulk billed

Patients without a Medicare card will be charged private rates.

Update on Phone Consults

As of the 4th April 2022, we will only be booking phone consults for patients with COVID like symptoms or those who are having to isolate.

Conditions of Entry

(as of Sat 26th Feb)

If you have any COVID-like symptoms at the time of booking, please let our reception team know

(e.g fever, chills, cough, sore through, runny nose, shortness of breath, loss/changes in sense of smell or taste).

If you have such symptoms, you qualify for a phone consult.

Face-to-Face Appointments

For the safety of everyone, face-to-face consults will only be available to those free of COVID like symptoms, or those our doctors have deems safe or appropriate to come in.

Please see 'Appointment Bookings' below for further details.

Appointment Bookings

If you have COVID like symptoms (.e.g fever, chills, cough, sore through, runny nose, shortness of breath, loss/changes in sense of smell or taste),

we urge you to let reception know and book a phone consult. Ph: 9027 9988.

To help keep everyone safe, anyone with COVID like symptoms will be asked to stay at home or wait in their vehicles for a phone consult.  Once the doctor has had a phone consult with them and deemed it appropriate and safe to come in for a face-to-face appointment, they may then do so.
